Andrew Billings, a Waco, Texas native, is currently a defensive tackle for the Chicago Bears. During Andrew’s high school career, he was a Texas All-State football player and he earned Texas Academic All-State accolades. Andrew also competed in powerlifting at Waco High School and broke the Texas State High School record (previously kept by Olympian Mark Henry).
Andrew attended Baylor University and played football as a true freshman for the Bears. Andrew became known for his weightlifting prowess and was dubbed, “College Football’s Strongest Player”, by NFL.com in early 2016. As a junior, Andrew earned First-Team All-American honors (AP), Co-Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year, and Big 12 Defensive Lineman of the Year. After just three years at Baylor, Andrew entered the NFL Draft. He was a top defensive tackle prospect and was selected by the Cincinnati Bengals in the fourth round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Andrew has enjoyed his transition into professional football. After playing for the Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns he signed to the Chicago Bears in 2023. Alongside his career in the NFL, Andrew continued his studies at Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in communication.
Outside of playing football, Andrew supports local youth football programs. He helps sponsor high school mentoring programs and college scholarship programs.
